The conservation field always needs highly skilled and talented professionals who can offer diverse solutions to meet the most critical global environmental challenges of the 21st century and beyond. World Wildlife Fund-US (WWF-US) is committed to strengthening partnerships with African American institutions to attract diverse scientists and conservationists. In partnering with Black in Environment, we invite their members to explore career paths in conservation with our organization’s programmatic and business operations functional groups. Attendees of this event will have the opportunity to speak directly with WWF experts, executive and senior staff, and other business and conservation professionals.
This free, virtual event is proudly sponsored by WWF-US's People & Culture office and the Sustaining Active Black Leadership and Empowerment (SABLE) employee resource group. As the world's leading conservation organization, WWF works to sustain the natural world for the benefit of people and wildlife, collaborating with partners from local to global levels in over 100 countries.

The Sustaining Active Black Leadership and Empowerment (SABLE) Employee Resource Group is a community of black employees at WWF where our focus is to cultivate a safe and inclusive environment where members feel comfortable coming together to support and empower one another. Raising awareness of black culture and experience throughout WWF and fostering professional and personal development to members aides in building a strong support system. SABLE’s vision is to make WWF a more diverse workplace that promotes more creative thinking, gain different perspectives, and increase innovation and productivity, which will result in better organizational and conservation outcomes.
